My Nails for Thankgiving

So around 11pm last night i got the urge to do my nails and totally forgot about taking photos of all the steps i did to create what i did..so yeah no tutorial but i wanted to explain on my blog how i did it all.

not only did I use nail polish but also makeup pigments!

this is the design I did

What you will need is
..

emerald green and a rustic red polish - or in my case pigments
clear polish
A sponge
A stamping image of a leaf
A good white polish that you can stamp with- I used konads white
striping brush
gold polish and golden yellow striping polish
and a black polish pen

So I applied my base coat first..then on a paper plate i put some off me BFTE (beauty from the earth) mineral pigments in colors Emerald and Isis

then on the paper plate pour a small amount of clear polish,then with your sponge dab it into the clear polish then dab it into the color of your choice ...then bring to your nail and in patting motions ..pat in the areas you want...What i did was half and half on each nail tip..and added just a little rustic red to the green and vise versa

so when that dries just apply a clear coat over entire nail to seal it all it.

Next I got my nail stamping stuff...with my white konad polish  i applied to the image plate,scraped and picked up with my stamper and applied to the nail ..keep it random for each nail

here is the image I used..this in not a konad image plate..i won this plate and have no idea who made it,sorry

next I went and filled in the white of the leaf starting off with a yellow gold..and blended some darker gold into it...from there I got my striping brush

and with it a created a few wavy lines on each nail around the leafs.also added a few dots.

And lastly with a black pen polish i added a few drops of black on the gold spots i did...Apply top coat and your all done.

I hope i have explained how i did this clear...cos im hopeless when it comes to directions!...lol.

An update on my Nail Art Collection

I just uploaded a video on my YT channel of my updated Nail Art collection so i thought i would also add the photos on here too.

Im very blessed to have all that i do and also to have the husband i have.while he sometimes complains that i have too much..he will got and surprise me with more nail art related items ...lol

ok lets start with my big 3 drawer organizer

the first drawer holds all my acrylic stuff and fake nails

Second drawer holds my polishes and some of my striping polishes

3rd drawer holds the rest of my striping polishes and also my airbrushes,supplies for them and some airbrushing books.

Now on to my 7 drawer organizer

On the very top I have my air compressor for my airbrushes and also my nail drill

And I also have a small container to hold the bitts and other items i need for the drill

In the first drawer I have some acrylic paints,fimo sticks and some rhinestone and a few other things

2nd drawer more rhinestone ,beads,loose glitters and other things

3rd drawer is my wheels,stickers,decals more glitters and my stamping stuff

Then next drawer has all the tools,files,brushes for nail art and acrylic and also some nail and hand care items

 next has my acetone,UV lamp,cotton balls and pads,more acrylic paints,cuticle oils and a couple of other things

 this I just have a bunch of random stuff
 

 



















And the last drawer is my contest goodies drawer :)

Disney VS Villians Makeup

So i entered a makeup contest on YT.My friend is currently doing a contest were you create a look based on a disney character -good or bad.
I chose to pick a villain and it was the one and only

Maleficant

Its not a tutorial but i will show you the beginning ,middle and end photos of the look i created.

I actually liked how this looked without anything on the lower lid

I had a blast doing this and laughed ALOT  everytime i looked in the mirror with those big brows!!..lol

Orly Cosmic Fx Collection

So today I got a package filled with goodies!!..awhile ago on twitter Orly was doing giveaways for their Cosmic FX  nail polish collection..and I was one of lucky people to win the entire collection.

So I just wanted to share with you some photos of what the 6 polishes look like.
You cant judge all them by the color you see in the bottle because I have found that 1 or 2 look one color in the bottle but when applied to a nails its completely different...example the polish Lunar Eclipse..looking at the bottle its purple in real life ,but in my photos and when applied to nails its blue with fine purple glitter flakes

New Nail art design inspired by my new hair

So you have already seen my other post about my new hair do..dyed it black and purple .
It has really grown on me so not long ago i did a new design inspired by it.

Trick or Treating

So this has nothing to do with nail art or makeup..I just want to share with you some photos of myself and babies on halloween.Daddy had to work that night (works 3rd shifts) so i was all on my own trying to control candy crazy kids...but to my surprise my kids were awesome for me!Last year my boys only managed to walk down one street but this year they were on a mission to hit every house in my town..and they pretty much did!!...so at the end of the night my kids each had a bag FILLED with all sorts of yummy treats...and yes i do help my self..just a little :)
